Guide to Install TWRP Recovery on Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro (Violet)

Steps to install TWRP recovery on Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro via Fastboot

  • Download the TWRP recovery image file using the link above.
  • Once downloaded, move it to the ADB folder on your local disk: (C).
  • Now, turn off your Xiaomi device completely.
  • Then, connect it to the PC using a USB cable.
  • Once connected, boot it into bootloader or fastboot mode using the volume down + power button.
  • After entering Fastboot mode, go to the ADB folder in your desktop.
  • While holding down the Shift key inside the ADB folder, right-click an empty space.
  • From the list of options, choose S Open PowerShell Window Here.
  • Open PowerShell window here
  • To check whether the device is successfully connected to the PC, execute the following command:
Fastboot device
  • If the above command returns a unique device ID with a fastboot message, then proceed to the next step. Otherwise, reconnect your Xiaomi smartphone.
  • Now, run the following command to flash TWRP recovery on Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro:

Fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.3.0-0-violet.img
Fastboot reboot

  • As soon as you hit the above PowerShell command, TWRP will install and the device will automatically boot into the OS.
